2018-19 School Supply Lists

Pre-K Supply List 2018-2019
Large backpack LABELED with your child's name.
One folder (of their choice) LABELED with your child's name
(they may eventually need a second one)
An extra pair of clothes to keep in their backpack, LABELED

The following items will be classroom supplies and do not need to be labeled
:
1 box of tissues
2-3 rolls of paper towels {to clean up pre-k messes)
1 container of wipes
2-3 glue sticks
2 boxes of crayons
2 boxes of # 2 pencils


Kindergarten Supply List
Backpack (no wheels)
Box of Tissues
Box of low odor dry erase markers
Set of extra clothes in a baggie
These are general supplies for DES kindergarten students. You will receive a letter over the summer from your child's classroom teacher and there may be additional items. See you in the fall!


First Grade Supply List


Your child will need these items on the first day of school:
A Backpack
2 packages of pencils
2 packages of crayons
Tissues
8 Elmer's glue sticks
Dry-erase markers (at least 2)
Gallon sized storage bags (boys); Quart sized storage bags (girls)
Headphones (either traditional or earbuds)

Please label your child's backpack with his/her name, but do not label classroom supplies. These will be shares with everyone. 

The following are items used frequently in the classroom, but are optional:
Erasers
Markers
Tape
Extra snack
Paper towels/napkins

Second Grade Supply List

Backpack without wheels
2 sturdy 2-pocket folder
2 packages of sharpened #2 pencils
Small package of pencil top erasers
1 package of colored pencils
1 box of crayons (24)
4 glue sticks
1 Composition Journal
Tissues

These supplies (except the backpack and folders) are shared by all students in the classroom.
Please DO NOT label the supplies with your child's name. Also please do not send any extra supplies with your child.

Below is a list of items we share throughout the year in our classrooms. We welcome donations of any of these supplies at any time during the year. Sending in these supplies is optional:

Third Grade Supply List

We are looking forward to a fun-filled school year starting in September!

Please note that specific classroom teachers may request other items throughout the year as supplies dwindle.
Some of these items may be collected and shared with the whole class.

Fine tip low odor dry erase markers
